There are many AT&T customers including myself, not able to play Battlefield 2024. That includes PC users and console users. The game will not connect to EA servers over AT&T internet. Many people including myself have a different data company for their phone. When using the phone hotspot, which is NOT on AT&T, the game connects to the servers without issue.
These issues have been reported to EA, and their techs are realizing this is a problem with AT&T and have asked people to contact AT&T and try to resolve the matter.
If anyone knows a work around for this, please let me know.
Thanks

Have you tried another DNS service like Google or cloudflare? Or even a VPN.
This forum is not a tool to get the kind of help you're looking for.

Glad to help you connect to the Battlefield game servers, @RandomUser333.
In addition to trying@gr8sho's suggestion, we recommend sending us a traceroute, so we can try to determine where the problem lies.
You can also read our article that covers gaming trouble. Once we have the traceroute, we'll figure out what your next steps should be.

@ATTHelp I appreciate the reply. I don't know how to do a traceroute without having the IP's of the servers. EA won't give those out and I'm not sure where to find them.
Many more server connection complaints have come into the EA forums today from mostly AT&T customers. Several of them have troubleshooted the issue with AT&T support to no avail. Hopefully AT&T and EA can get together and fix this.

If this is such a pervasive problem, someone over on the EA forum will have an address you can use for the test. Ask for it.

Hello @RandomUser333, we would be glad to provide additional assistance with your Battlefield servers connection.
If you are not able to get someone at the EA forums to provide an address to use for the test, as suggested by @gr8sho, you can also run a whois searchto see who manages that IP and reach out to them to investigate the issue further.
Looking forward to hearing back from you with the traceroute info so we can determine the next course of action.

@gr8sho "If this is such a pervasive problem" The complaints are piling up fast. You are free to go to the EA Battlefield 2024 forums and see for yourself. Maybe you can find something.
I'm not sure if it's allowed but I will provide a link to the thread I started yesterday. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/AT-amp-T-network-quot-Unable-to-load-persistence-data-quot/m-p/12774149#M49927
EA has just pinned this thread and asking only AT&T users to post in it. Apparently trying to figure things out. This thread is now 5 pages long, and it's only 1 of several threads concerning this issue

This isn't the first time I've seen a problem like this from users, its just I've never experienced it myself, and I don't have that specific game to test it.
If it were me, I'd factory reset my gateway to rule any possibility of an issue in my home network. Especially if some Att Internet users are able to play the game fine with no issues. And you can equally try running the game with and without ipv6 enabled in the gateway.

I am having EA connection problems with a other game, NHL 23. The EA community manager insists that the problem lies with AT&T and there is nothing they can do. Many people on that
thread. Lots of questions. Zero answers

Having EA server connection issues on certain games. The team at EA insists this is on the AT&T side.
Internet works great. Every thing else loads, I'm getting good wifi signal and my router works. I've reset my router 3 times today. No solution is working at this point.
There must be a back end error here that AT&T and EA are not working together. What is the consumer to do?

Thanks for letting us know, @PhilRoos2!
We do see that EA was doing maintenance across all of their online servers for most of the day yesterday. As of now, it looks like that has been completed. Are you still experiencing the same connection issues?
If so, we may need to move this conversation to a more private space so that we can check on your connection from our end.

Thanks for reaching out to us about your gaming experience and we'd be happy to help with your connection, @PhilRoos2.
To get started, we'd recommend checking out our information for . Please run a traceroute for service so we're able to see the connection between our service and your gaming system. This will provide us some more information on what could be causing the intermittent connection gaming system.
We look forward to hearing from you.
