General Discussion - Support Gem Letter Codes - Forum - Path of Exile (2024)

It's not fully up-to-date it seems, but it has pretty much all of them. The second column is "ID" which is the letter/colored background of the letter

M - Multistrike or Melee Physical Damage

B - Blood magic

A - Faster Attacks

E - Increased Area of Effect

k - Knockback

r - Reduced mana (if red background) minion and totem elemental resistances (if blue background)

The M is Multistrike, the r is Reduced Mana, the B is Blood Magic, and the A is Faster Attacks. I've not a clue what the E is, but I've seen the k before - I think it might be fork or something.

What's this build for, anyways; Lightning Strike?

Edit: I got ninja'd. Yeah, k is knockback, that makes sense.

It's for a dual sword ranger. I was trying to see what support gems this person was using:

Thanks for taking that a step further, it helps out to plan a build. My first build was on a witch and I failed so bad that I wanted to make sure I didn't screw up this time.

Just a correction.

I am pretty sure about this.
