0. Gazette mouday, August 18, 1560 Chillicothe High School Cavalettes brought home three the Super Star Drill Team Camp at Otterbein College, sponsored by the Rangerettes of Texas. Officers are, front, Toni Overly (left), first lieutenant, and Terri Norris, captain, and back row, Stacy Tague and Angee Harper, second lieutenants. Three hundred attended, representing 22 schools. Terri Norris received a Super Star trophy, one of five presented, and the team was named a sweepstake winner (superior rating) and won a home routine trophy (superior rating).
There were only seven sweepstake winners (two from small groups) and seven home routine trophies presented at the week-long camp. Youth beat By LaVersa Motes The CHS Forensic team has been revived after a year's absence. Five juniors attended the Wake Forest University high school debate workshop in Winston-Salem, N. this summer. They were ALICE DRAGOON, KATY HOUMEIL, BILL LYDDON, PATSY MATUSHONECK and PAT STRAUSBAUGH.
There were 104 students representing 22 states. The team of LYDDON and DRAGOON qualified for the elimination rounds in the junior varsity division and won quarter-finals, semi-finals and the championship rounds. This is the first time in the 31-year history of the workshop that two debaters with no previous experience won the junior varsity tournament. Dragoon was also named fourth best speaker in the tournament and the workshop staff voted her the most outstanding student in the workshop. Director and head debate coach of the CHS program will be Tom Williams.
Miss Lynn Hetman will be head individual events coach. Lisa Burns and Mary Jane Thacker will be assistant coaches. Sixtythree students have signed up, with only nine having previous experience. Story Place Club Mrs. Howard Junk spoke on "'The Care and Conditioning of Cut Flowers" at the meeting of the Story Place Garden Club, at the home of Mrs.
David Oliver, 358 Delano Ave. Mrs. Junk, president of the Ross County Federation of Garden Clubs and an accredited judge, detailed the methods for grooming and conditioning of individual flowers for exhibiting in shows. She said most flowers should be picked in the morning or evening at their peak of bloom; cut on a slant with a sharp knife, placed in cold water and then put in a cool, dark place overnight; and specimens should be cleaned and excess leaves removed for showing. Some flowers require different treatment and rules should be followed for individual varieties, Mrs.
Junk pointed out. During the business session, conducted by Mrs. J.C. Fletcher, president, announcements included: the 50th anniversary celebration of the club, a luncheon at the Holiday Inn, Sept. 30; the flower show at the Chillicothe Veterans Administration Medical Center, Aug.

and Mrs. Howard Rimmer, Flushing, N.Y. Venise and Chantilly laces and seed pearls trimmed the bride's white silesta gown. The empire bodice had a sheer yoke, cameo neckline and bishop sleeves with lace cuffs. The A- line skirt featured a crystall lace flounce and an attached chapellength train.
Complementing the gown was a chapel-length illusion veil held in place by a lace profile cap. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of white roses, white carnations, white daisies and babies'-breath.
