0. Gazette mouday, August 18, 1560 Chillicothe High School Cavalettes brought home three the Super Star Drill Team Camp at Otterbein College, sponsored by the Rangerettes of Texas. Officers are, front, Toni Overly (left), first lieutenant, and Terri Norris, captain, and back row, Stacy Tague and Angee Harper, second lieutenants. Three hundred attended, representing 22 schools. Terri Norris received a Super Star trophy, one of five presented, and the team was named a sweepstake winner (superior rating) and won a home routine trophy (superior rating).

Five juniors attended the Wake Forest University high school debate workshop in Winston-Salem, N. this summer. There were 104 students representing 22 states. The team of LYDDON and DRAGOON qualified for the elimination rounds in the junior varsity division and won quarter-finals, semi-finals and the championship rounds. This is the first time in the 31-year history of the workshop that two debaters with no previous experience won the junior varsity tournament. Dragoon was also named fourth best speaker in the tournament and the workshop staff voted her the most outstanding student in the workshop.
